DRAFTAPPS / PERSONAL LAB / NEVER QUITE FINISHED

Useful.Useless.Interesting.

I design products, build experiments and follow ideas farther than strictly necessary. Some become useful. Some become Draftapps.

Built. Tested.
Occasionally useful.

The useful projects, the weird ones and the completely unnecessary ones all live here. Practical categories stay within reach.

METHOD / BLUEPRINT DISCIPLINE

From a hypothesis to something people can try.

Three phases, some rigour, and enough curiosity to keep asking useful questions.

  1. 01

    PHASE 01

    Ideation

Fast workshops and design sprints. Not just tech: I bring basic legal, commercial and accounting angles to frame constraints and opportunities.

    • Brief & discovery (user, context, constraints)
    • Hypotheses & feasibility (incl. legal/commercial)
    • Concept deck, user stories and first numbers
  2. 02

    PHASE 02

    Design

Information architecture, service AI, wireframes, UI kit and design system. Care for privacy, IP and business model.

    • User flows & wireframes
    • UI design & components
    • Guidelines, accessibility and baseline compliance
  3. 03

    PHASE 03

    Prototyping

Clickable or functional: I build testable prototypes to validate early. Focus on usability, pitch and model sustainability.

    • Rapid prototypes (web/app/game)
    • User tests and feedback collection
    • MVP roadmap and pitch materials

Lorenzo
Prandi.

A well-rounded geek. A serial rabbit-hole explorer, I like ideas that sit somewhere between “that could be useful” and “why does this exist?”.

Lorenzo Prandi: Digital Consultant, writer and full‑stack geek.
Born in 1998 in the Alps between vineyards and mountain passes; diploma in computer science, then political science in Pavia and human–computer interaction in Turin.
Web and design lover, co‑founder and webmaster of nuotounostiledivita and dolcestilnuoto.
Curiosity-driven to the core — from forest mycorrhiza to why you can't infer an alternator's input from the output alone. History, science, computing, politics, philosophy (and yes, a bit of law & economics) are my playground.
Introvert, divergent thinker: I listen a lot, then go into long (often futile) ruminations on how to improve what's around me.
CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH
AI tools that actually reduce friction
DEFAULT MODE
Ask “what if?” one time too many
THINGS I KNOW
Product, UX, code, systems, prototypes
THINGS I PRETEND TO KNOW
Enough to start another side project
USEFULNESS REQUIREMENT
Optional

CONTACT / NEXT REVISION

Nothing is ever final.
Got another what if?

Interesting problems, weird ideas and disproportionately ambitious side projects are welcome. I’ll take normal projects too, anyway.
